The LazyLazed Engraved Brass Pocket Compass is a lightweight brass-finish keepsake compass with a hinged lid, working magnetic needle, and a vintage compass rose face. We source the compass body and do the personalization in-house — fiber-laser engraved with your choice of name, date, and scripture or quote so the marks are cut cleanly into the brass and won't fade, peel, or rub off. To be straightforward: this is a gift-grade keepsake, not a survival instrument. The metal walls are thin (it's pocket-friendly and light in the hand), the needle reads true for orientation but isn't precision navigation, and the value is in the engraving and the moment you hand it over. Standard front-lid layout: arched top line, script centerpiece (usually a name), a small date mark with flourishes, and an arched bottom line. A name on the back is included at no extra cost.
